Gfinity Elite Series
James served as Franchise Manager and broadcast talent for the Gfinity Elite Series Australia — one of the most ambitious esports competitions ever staged in the country. Working across both the operational and on-screen sides of the league, he helped bring city-based franchise esports to Australian audiences for the first time, contributing to a production that set a new benchmark for live esports broadcasting in the region.
Working with professional broadcast teams, the Rocket League series was aired live on Channel 10 Peach in the prime time Sunday morning slot, whilst Counter-Strike and Street Fighter were streamed live and exclusively on Twitch. As the one the main commentators for both Counter-Strike and Rocket League, this gave James invaluable experience both in front of and behind the camera.
