Supercars Eseries

At the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns, using my intimate knowledge of esports and TV production, I was able to help the V8 Supercars and Gravity Media teams assemble a world class production in the short span of 3 weeks, showcasing sim-racing to millions of new viewers across the globe via the Supercars All-Stars Eseries.

The 10 week live broadcast featured on Fox Sports and Kayo streaming services in a prime time spot, the Supercars All-stars Eseries was Supercars response to the global pandemic. Featuring drivers from Formula 1, NASCAR, IndyCar and alongside a host of Supercars drivers past and present, the series was lauded for it’s entertaining nature, giving viewers a different view of their favourite drivers with wheel to wheel racing action.

Product Development

Worked with Supercars commercial team to integrate series sponsors into broadcast, replicating the main V8 Supercars series.
Advise Supercars on best practice for online streaming.
Advisory on different racing formats to maintain entertainment value.
Introduced new broadcast technology to give audiences unprecedented access to drivers and their personalities on broadcast.

Event Operations

Facilitating driver & creator education, setup and practice sessions - including remote support for drivers during COVID-19 lockdowns.
Selection of race conditions and formats to ensure the most exciting racing.
Ensuring iRacing technology stack was integrated with main Supercars broadcast package, utilising the world class broadcast facilities located at Gravity Media Studios, Artarmon - Sydney
